Grunge Dresses

Contempo Casuals is one of the brands we look for because they were at the forefront of the grunge dress movement. The fabric, style and quality of their dresses is the best. We like this dress because of the slightly longer sleeves and the fantastic print. Rayon. Measures 38″ bust, 34″ length.

A great grunge dress with a twist…an elastic waist that give it great movement and shape. We also love the abstract leopard print…the colors are neutral. Looks good with a wide belt, boots and a cardigan. Label reads, “David Benjamin.” Rayon. Measures 39″ bust, 25″ elastic waist (stretches larger), 36″ length.

Byer Too!, a little-known brand from California, makes some of the nicest grunge dresses I’ve seen. This style is a particular favorite because if its simplicity and that cute bow in front (which adjusts the bust for a perfect fit.) Measures 38″ bust (adjusts slightly smaller), 30: waist, 32″ length.

I love this subdued floral print, which is appropriate during any season. Add a thermal shirt and tights in the winter, or sandals in the summer. Buttons down the front and has a corset-tie back for a perfect fit. Measures 36″ bust (adjusts smaller), 32″ waist (adjusts smaller), 32″ length.
