This dramatic piece was likely made in India in the 60s or 70s...possibly earlier. The stones are agate. The silver content is unknown...there are no hallmarks. It is very large and has quite a lot of impact when worn. The triangle part measures 8"x7"x7" and the neck opening measures 17" but could be worn smaller, or chain could easily be added to make it longer. Older ethnic pieces are difficult to find, especially Indian pieces where they do not believe in passing down jewelry after someone dies...they bury them with it or melt it down. Beautiful piece in excellent condition!
