Roberto de Villacis started designing his “Trash Couture” line at the age of 24 in 1991. I purchased these from a woman who was the girlfriend of one of the Rolling Stones. They were custom made by Roberto for her in 1991-1993. They’re rare because they’re among his earliest pieces. The beautiful fabrics he used were recycled from couture houses, with semi-precious stones sewn on. He was very deliberate about how he shredded the fabric, making sure to leave enough fabric in areas that required coverage. He liked his pieces to be worn with jeans. Carrie Underwood wears one of his bustiers on the cover of her recent album (he’s still designing, in LA, today.) This fabulous accessory works well with his pieces or on its own. Measures 28″ long (half is chain, half is suede/fabric/feathers/stones.)
Georgian rose-cut diamond, 18K and sterling silver ring is stunning! Very sparkly and impressive in size. Probably British, possibly French. Looks beautiful on the hand.
Center diamond is .15 carat and is flanked by 7 smaller diamonds. Stamped with a letter L, number 3 and what appears to be a cross. Weighs 5.3 grams. Measures 1″ in length and over 1/2″ wide. Size 7.5 (sizable.) Excellent, original condition. A true heirloom!
Tested and guaranteed. We do not sell reproductions.
This antique cushion diamond, 14k rose gold and sterling silver ring is breathtaking. There are four rose-cut diamonds measuring 3mm across (approximately .10 cts each) surrounding a brilliant old miner’s cushion cut diamond measuring 5mm (approximately .40ct.) It is not hallmarked or stamped, may have worn off. The gold is testing between 14k.-18k. This is a gorgeous, rare piece that looks very striking on the hand. Excellent condition.
Great big owl pendant…the largest I’ve seen at 6″ long! Gold tone, blue glass eyes, 20″ chain. Excellent condition.
I have a thing for these ring chokers. I’m constantly complimented on mine whenever I wear it and I seek them out and always have a small collection on hand for customers. This one features an amazing array of wooden beads and brass drops. All handmade. The ring measures 5″ in diameter and the longest piece hangs down another 6″. Very striking piece. Excellent condition. Purchased in San Francisco…of course.
